Fosterhill is a 5-bedroom farmhouse-style home offers a warm, welcoming environment designed to feel like a true home for every child. Nestled in a tranquil rural setting, our home is designed to offer a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for our children and young people who are experiencing significant behavioural challenges. 

 

With a focus on therapeutic support, our home provides a warm and homely atmosphere that promotes healing, emotional growth, and positive behavioural change where children can heal, learn, and build meaningful relationships while receiving the care and attention they deserve in line with the promise.  Fosterhill prides itself on the ‘feeling’ our experienced team have created and continue to embed in our home with our fun and nurturing atmosphere allowing our young people the space to thrive.  With around 7 acres of outdoor space inviting our young people to create imaginative play, making use of the trampoline, swing and football nets.

 

In addition to our 5 bedded home we have a small 1 bedroom cottage ideal for semi-independent living. Situated on the same grounds providing the opportunity to maintain connection whilst allowing the young person to explore independence. The layout of the cottage has an open plan lounge/kitchen area, bathroom and entertainment room on the ground floor with the bedroom and shower room on the first floor level for sole use by the young person. 

 

Fosterhill has a focus on well being for our team and young people with access to a cold water therapy tub in our rear garden and holistic practitioners visiting our home to provide self care sessions on a fortnightly basis, this adds to the relaxed atmosphere we have created in our home and magnifies the feeling of a home from home.
