“My time at Spark of Genius was amazing.
When I first started in P7, I was struggling a lot — misbehaving and often running away, thinking that school and education weren’t worth my time. But everything started to change when I moved into S1.
That’s when I began to get real support from the amazing staff team, who cared more than any staff at the four previous schools I’d attended.
The staff at Spark of Genius genuinely put in the effort to help pupils manage their challenges in the way that works best for them — whether that was 1-to-1 support, quiet spaces to reset, or even simple reward systems that made you feel seen when you got things right.
Thanks to their support, I’m now working as an EE employee at the EE office in Glasgow and earning enough to support myself.

“The school is in a great location, and that definitely helps students who might feel self-conscious about attending. It's not surrounded by busy areas or strangers, which makes a big difference.
