Spark of Genius is an independent organisation which works predominantly with young people, their families and carers, who need a variety of supports to achieve their true potential. Spark of Genius provides:
- Short term residential respite care to allow both young people and their parents/carers to work through specific family crisis situations.
- Longer stay residential care for young people to bring about transformational development in themselves and their families/carers.
- Day education for young people who have found it difficult to cope within a large mainstream setting and need an alternative approach to education to re-motivate them.
- Post 16 programmes for young people who need additional training on how to gain employment or worthwhile further educational places.
- Inclusion services aimed at preventing educational exclusion in the first place.
- Online services comprising of educational
extension materials and networking tools aimed at re-motivating young people in learning and
participation, backed up by a team of account
administrators including teachers.
